Credit Card Payments: All credit card payments are subject to a 3.5% handling fee.
Arrival and Departure: The Tenant(s) is permitted to move into the premises at 14:00 on the day the tenancy begins and the premises must be vacant by 11:00 on the departure date, unless otherwise agreed with Apartelle. The keys should be returned and the check out form signed by the tenant. If you wish to departure before 09:00, please inform reception to make arrangements.
Keys: Apartelle will provide the Tenant(s) with set of keys for the premises, which may include a card key, as well as a key for the safe deposit box. All keys must be returned on termination of the tenancy. If key is not returned Apartelle with charge £30 per room key, £6 per front door key and £99 per safe key. The charges will be made on the credit card provided to pay for deposit or rent.
Premises: The Tenant(s) is allowed to use the premises only for the purposes of a private residence for occupation by his or her spouse and immediate family and for no other purpose whatsoever. The Tenant(s) must not damage injure or alter the premises in any way, including the services or service media in the premises which must be kept free from obstruction. The Tenant(s) must maintain the contents and keep them in good condition (except to the extent that their condition deteriorates as a result of fair and ordinary use), must make sure they are not damaged and must not take any items away from the premises. In the event that the premise requires a repair which if not reported immediately will give rise to further damage, the Tenant(s) must give notice to Apartelle immediately. The Tenant(s) shall be liable for all loss and expense arising from any failure to give such notice immediately.
Access: Apartelle reserves the right to access the premises at all reasonable times without prior consent from the Tenant(s).
Wireless Internet: Please ask reception for the wireless internet access code or a cable to access the internet. Apartelle advises Tenants to install anti-virus and security software on computers and is not liable for any viruses or damage to computers that may occur over the internet provided. Cable must be returned on departure; otherwise a £10 charge will be made on the credit card provided to pay for deposit or rent.
Fire Regulations: The Tenant(s) is forbidden from smoking in the premises or within the common area of the building and must not tamper with smoke detectors fitted in the premises. The Tenant(s) shall not bring on to the premises any electrical gas paraffin, other burning or supplementary portable heaters or flammable liquids under any circumstances. Cooking within the premises is restricted to the use of electrical appliances provided in the premises such as microwaves and hobs. If the Tenant(s) wishes to bring any additional furniture on to the premises, they must first seek written consent from Apartelle. The Tenant(s) is requested to study the fire action plans within the premises and the emergency exit routes demonstrated in the common parts. It is essential that all fire exit routes are kept clear at all times and all fire doors are kept shut.
Quiet Enjoyment: The Tenant(s) must not play any musical instrument or device and must not allow noise from any machine or equipment to be heard outside the premises in such manner that may cause a disturbance after 22:00 hours or before 08:00 hours on any day. The Tenant(s) must not do anything in the premises that may reasonably be considered to be a nuisance or annoyance to the Landlord or occupiers of adjacent or neighbouring property.
Animals: The Tenant(s) is not permitted to keep or allow to be kept any animals, fish or reptiles on the premises.
Caution: Where a Tenant(s) is occupying a duplex apartment, Apartelle asks that Tenant(s) take caution when going up steps and when residing on the mezzanine level. Apartelle understands that the Tenant(s) is fully aware of the caution they must take and Apartelle shall not be liable or responsible for any injury suffered by a Tenant(s) and his family with respect to the mezzanine level.
Please note: a mezzanine is a sleeping area with a low ceiling. The bedding in his area is a mattress only with no base.
Late Arrival:
If you need a late check in, which means after 23:00, please advise the time you are coming and an extra fee will be charged.
Please note that the reception is open from 09:00-23:00
For late check in booked in advance the fee is £20.00 and non arranged late check in will be charged £25.00, paid by cash
Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation within 2 weeks of arrival or in the event of an early departure, the Tenant(s) will not be reimbursed for monies already paid to Apartelle. It is at Apartelle’s discretion as to whether a deposit is reimbursed in such a case. All other cancellations which are over 2 weeks from the arrival date are refundable but are subject to a £50.00 cancellation fee. This can be used as credit towards any future booking made by the same client within six months of the cancellation.
